Haley Music Therapy has an amazing team of board certified music therapists. Three out of three music therapy interns have stayed on as employees when they completed their internships. That’s a pretty good record!
Erin Haley, MA, MT-BC

Erin is a Chico native and moved home in 2014 to start Haley Music Therapy. She is passionate about making sure music therapy is available to her community and is continually finding new ways to meet the needs of her clients, staff, and interns.
Erin has a masters degree in Music Therapy, and is trained in neurologic music therapy. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in Music Therapy. She enjoys her multiple roles as a clinician, administrator, and Executive Director of a music therapy charitable fund.
Lexi Obregon, BM, MT-BC

Lexi was an intern with Haley Music Therapy and we were so impressed we kept her on as staff! Lexi is full of joy and brings that energy to her sessions. Along with running the music therapy groups at The Boys and Girls Club with our colleague, Ruby, Lexi works with individual clients in a one-on-one setting. Lexi is creative and thoughtful, and often brings interesting technology to use in sessions.We are thrilled she has decided to join our team.
Ruby Weaver, BA, MT-BC

Ruby joined HMT in July of 2022. She arrived, fresh from her internship in New York, via Pacific University in Seattle, WA. Ruby is energetic and funny and loves Dennys Restaurants! It’s a good thing we have one in Chico, or I’m not sure if she would have stayed! And we are SO glad that she did. Ruby helps run our music therapy groups at the Boys and Girls Club with Lexi, and is also working with adults with ID/DD to learn how to play music.

Alicia joined our team in late 2023 and we are so happy to have her on our team! Alicia enjoys working with children of all ages and is motivated and dedicated to finding the best ways to connect and work with her clients.

Emmon has been with HMT for 3 years. They excel in their work with individuals with Autism and Developmental Disabilities. Emmon brings a calm and peaceful demeanor to their environment. We appreciate Emmon’s commitment to music therapy and to their clients. They are dependable and caring.
Pam Sachs, BM, MT-BC

Pam is our favorite music therapy collaborator! She is a board certified music therapist in Chico. Pam collaborates with both Haley Music Therapy and The Music Therapy Impact Fund to run our therapeutic choir for people with Parkinson’s disease, and is a long-time provider of hospice music therapy.
